Indian businessmen should not feel left out of any financial aid extended by the government, Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said. He said the government offered equal opportunities to all Malaysians and they should strive to succeed, Bernama news agency’s report said Tuesday. “There should not be such thinking. We did not discriminate in terms of giving opportunities to everybody, but importantly you have to strive hard. “In fact, the government has provided various facilities for all entrepreneurs, irrespective of race,” Muhyiddin Yassin said when officiating the Perak Indian Chamber of Commerce’s new building. Muhyiddin said although the government provided almost everything, “if entrepreneurs and businessmen expect profits without working hard, they would not be able to compete and advance forward”.
