Myanmar will hold its Second Development Cooperation Forum in Nay Pyi Taw next Monday through to Tuesday, state media reported Tuesday. Organized by the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development, the forum, under the theme of "Accelerating for Progress through Enhancing Inclusive Coordination", will discuss a draft bill of the logistics and administrative arrangement. The forum will involve development partners, non-governmental and social organizations and UN agencies, said the state-run New Light of Myanmar daily. The First Development Cooperation Forum was held in January last year, in which economic and social reform framework and short- and long-term plan were laid down. Besides, cooperation for comprehensive development of Myanmar was also touched with the release of Nay Pyi Taw Accord Effective Development Cooperation. According to the accord, measures for generating more income at home and international aid for development of Myanmar were sought. Development partners welcomed and encouraged goals of Myanmar government in financial allotment for development to be able to stand on its feet at certain period. In the budget allotment, development partners hoped that more financial assistance will go to the key sectors, especially poorly- funded sectors. They also approved that aid will be used effectively in Myanmar 's reform process which will help get more international aid.
