Yonhap News Agency's all-news cable channel "news Y" hosted Monday an economic forum for in-depth discussions on ways to find a new growth engine in accordance with the government's vision, organizers said. "The 2013 News Y Economy Forum" in central Seoul brought hundreds of key figures from the government, and business and academic circles, whose discussions were mainly on the so-called "creative economy." As President Park Geun-hye's trademark growth strategy, the creative economy vision calls for creating new business opportunities, industries and jobs through the fusion of information and communication technology, culture and other realms.
