Yemen and Qatar Charity signed here on Wednesday three agreements worth of over $1.4 million to carry out humanitarian projects in the country. Under the first agreement, Qatar Charity grants $1. 089 million to implement a project of restoration 130 house of those affected by confrontations between the armed forces and al-Qaeda militants in Zinjibar, the capital of Abyan governorate. According to the second agreement, the Charity will build Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Thani house to take care of orphans at a total cost of $238,000. Qatar Charity also donates $100,000 to perform 55 operations of catheterization and open-heart for Yemenis by a specialist medical team from Hamad Medical Corporation and Qatar's Al-Ahli Hospital. The agreements were signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed Al-Sa'adi and Abdulaziz bin Jassim al-Thani, the member of the Qatar Charity's General Assembly and the supervisor of its projects in Yemen.
