
H.H. Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has issued emiri decree No. (4) of 2014 restructuring the emirate's Executive Council to implement the emirate Vision 2021. Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Humaid said the UAE, under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, was progressing steadily towards its goals and excellence in various fields in order to reach the highest rankings internationally. He affirmed that building capacities and investment in UAE human resources take top priority at the State's policy of nation-building and the State would spare no effort to empower its citizens to achieve excellence and innovation internationally. He added that the Ajman Vision 2021 features strategic goals that will effective and practical contributions towards realising socio-economic prosperity and welfare for Emiratis and expatriate residents. Sheikh Humaid urged the Executive Council members and Ajman government employees to double their efforts and work hard to turn ambitious plans into reality. The 19-article decree defines the formation, mandate, functions, mission, structural organisation and budget of the council, its chairman and members.
