Russia’s agriculture watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor finds it necessary to change the list of suppliers of dairy products from the Netherlands according to the results of an ongoing inspection in the country, Rosselkhoznadzor head Sergei Dankvert said on sidelines of the exhibition “Gold Autumn-2013” here on Wednesday. Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors are working at Dutch enterprises, the inspection will end on October 12, 2013, he said. “The preliminary results are dissatisfactory,” Dankvert noted. As many as 71 Dutch enterprises deliver their produce to Russia now, but Rosselkhoznadzor has some grounds to cut this list, because the Dutch veterinarian watchdog signs the documents “without taking a look at the products,” the Rosselkhoznadzor head noted. Meanwhile, the agency, which controls the milk quality, is incorporated in the ministry of economy. The Netherlands may also cut the list of supplies, Dankvert noted. “The desire to deliver is not a reason for putting someone on the list, the reason is the fulfillment of Russian requirements,” he added.
