S Korea to provide humanitarian aid to Yemen

South Korea has decided to give US$500,000 in humanitarian aid to Yemen to help women and children in the Arab country, which is grappling with various security challenges after last year’s uprising, officials said Thursday, Yonhap reported. The decision, aimed at offering public health and education services to women and children in Yemen, marked South Korea’s second aid package this year for the Arab nation, the foreign ministry said in a statement .
