
H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, will tomorrow open the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR), the region's foremost platform dedicated to homeland security, safety and national resilience, at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition centre. Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, the biennial event provides a key platform for the global security calendar, and a unique networking platform for governments and private sectors, a place to exchange knowledge, share best practice, discover the state of the art and do business. Major General Dr. Obeid Al Kitbi, Chairman of ISNR's Higher Organising Committee, said ISNR 2014 will witness the largest and most comprehensive edition ever held; and will include three specialised sections for Homeland Security and National Resilience, Information Security, and Critical Infrastructure Security - together with two co-located events dedicated to Fire and Emergency Middle East and Occupational Safety and Health Middle East. ISNR will feature, as well, the International Conference on Security Challenges, Cyber Crime Conference and Occupational Safety and Health Conference in addition to 15 specialised workshops and a world class Live Action on Responding to Crisis and Emergencies.. ISNR 2014, he said, will witness 78 launches of new advanced equipment, services and products. Jointly organized by the UAE Ministry of Interior and Reed Exhibitions, he added, ISNR Abu Dhabi in its 6th edition from 1- 3 April 2014 is expecting 433 exhibiting companies from 40 countries spreading over 27000sqm, in addition to 15,000 local and regional experts and decision makers from the private and public sectors.
