Minister of Labor Eng. Adil bin Mohammed Faqih met here today with visiting Indonesian Minister of Labor and Migration Mohaymen Iskander. During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of labor. The two sides agreed to form a work team of the two ministries to accelerate joint agreement regarding framework convention in the field of domestic workers. For his part, the Indonesian minister reaffirmed respecting Saudi laws, pointing to his country's keenness to train laborers before coming to the Kingdom. Faqih stressed the importance of adherence to the provisions of the framework convention which approved by the Cabinet. The Saudi minister also confirmed for his Indonesian counterpart that any agreement in the future should be devoid of any provision that may contravene with the Kingdom's policy or national's privacy in accordance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
