In the first half of 2012, Serbia's top export partners were Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), Italy, Romania, and Russia with over USD 2.5 billion. The greatest share in the export came from cereals, agricultural products, electrical machinery and apparatus, non-ferrous materials, iron and steel, amounting to over a third of the domestic export (31.3 percent). From January-June 2012, Serbia realized import mostly from Russia, Germany, Italy, China, and Hungary totaling over USD 4 billion, the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia showed. In the first half of the year, Serbia exported goods worth USD 651.8 million to Germany, BiH USD 520.3 million, Italy USD 509 million, Romania USD 502.9 million, and Russia USD 375.7 million. Serbia realized the largest import from the Russian Federation USD 1.12 billion, Germany somewhat over one billion dollars, Italy USD 872.4 million, China USD 676.4 million, and Hungary USD 455.2 million.
