Turkey’s ship and yacht exports increase by 43.5% in 2013

Turkey’s ship and yacht exports have increased by 43.5 percent, totaling to 1 billion 163 million 591 thousand dollars in 2013. Istanbul has provided 65.23 percent of the total ship and yacht production of Turkey. Another important producer city was Yalova, with 24.26 percent of the total production. These two cities have produced 89.40 percent (1 billion 40 million 282 thousand dollars) of Turkey’s total ship and yacht exports in 2013. According to Turkish Exporters Assembly, Turkey’s ship and yacht exports increased by 43.5 percent in 2013, compared to 2012, which the total amount of export was 810 million 936 thousand dollars.
