Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu on Thursday said that they wanted to see Austrian companies participating in Turkish tenders for the construction of city hospitals within the frame of public sector-private sector cooperation. Speaking at a joint press conference with his Austrian counterpart Alois Stoeger in Ankara, Muezzinoglu indicated that Stoeger and he evaluated the possibility of Austrian companies joining Turkish tenders for city hospitals. During our talks today, we discussed joint projects that could be realized, Muezzinoglu also said. Muezzinoglu called onAustrian investors to invest in Turkey. Minister Stoeger, in his part, said that he was very touched by the progress Turkey made. "It was pleasing to see the developments in health policies. There are many things we can learn from the tobacco consumption in Turkey. We want to develop cooperation with Turkey," Stoeger also said.
