The UAE is blessed with a stable investment environment supported by a sustainable economic growth, making it the only window of opportunity in the troubled world economy, a Russian radio has said. In a special report on the UAE, the Voice of Russia has mentioned that "the markets of the Gulf region, and specifically the United Arab Emirates, provide the best environment to attract international investments and give the only ray of hope in the world's dark economic tunnel." The report cited the UAE's booming economy; high growth rates; positive performance indicators in non-oil sectors, such as tourism, trade and logistics; and high oil prices as factors that reinforce the UAE's ability to attract investments and to gain investors' confidence. Citing data from the latest World Bank Report "Doing Business 2013", the Voice of Russia has noted that the UAE was ranked first out of 185 countries for having the easiest tax structure, retaining its position as number one in the MENA region for ease of doing business. The Russian radio has praised the UAE's dynamic tax system and easy procedures, citing the efforts exerted by the UAE government to improve the investment climate and facilitate the procedures necessary to start businesses.
