Workers in Dubai and Sharjah honoured

The Ministry of Labour today honoured thousands of workers in response to the initiative by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai,to dedicate his Accession Day celebrations this year to thanking and honouring domestic workers, janitors, public transportation drivers, construction workers and office support workers. At two actitivities held for this purpose in Dubai and Sharjah, senior MoL officials presented workers with gifts and soft drinks. Undersecretary of the Ministry Humaid Bin Demas Suwaidi stressed on the interest of the ministry in the initiative as a humanitarian and civilzed move.
