
Yemeni, regional and international officials discussed on Monday Yemen’s humanitarian needs in a symposium held in London.During the symposium, Yemen’s Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has attributed the fragility of Yemen’s situation to widespread corruption, and lack of good governance, justice, development and sharing of resources during the past period.Al-Qirbi presented an assessment of Yemen’s current situation, urgent needs, and economic and reform policies needed to put and to squandering of the state resources.For his part, the UK International Development Minister Alan Duncan emphasized that the United Kingdom would continue supporting Yemen’s transition led by President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.He cited that Yemen suffers from deep-rooted economic problems, asserting that insecurity and violence exacerbated humanitarian hardships in Yemen.
