The agreement signed by Minster of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi and USA deputy ambassador to Yemen Elizabeth Richard raises the amount of the US annual aid to Yemen up to $200 million. The USA earmarked $12 million - out of the $20 million - for the national dialogue conference and the electoral registration system in Yemen and $8 million for supporting the early reading program. On the other hand, the Minister signed with Deputy German ambassador to Yemen Philip Hulzapfl an agreement to support good governance project in Yemen worth of €3 million provided by the German government through the GIZ.
