
Minister of Housing, Town Planning and City, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announced Monday in In Guezzam (Tamanrasset), that the construction of 105,000 AADL housing units has been launched.
"The construction of 105,000 housing units, as part of the new program of the National Agency for Housing Improvement and Development (ALDA) was launched," Tebboune told APS on the sidelines of the working and inspection visit of the Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal to the region.
The Offices of Real Estate Development and Management (OPGI) "were urged to launch the construction of new housing units on behalf of AADL," he added.
Furthermore, the sending of notifications for the new eligible applicants for the first payment will be closed in December 2014, the minister said, estimating the number of those candidates called so far is between 130,000 and 140,000.
In this context, Tebboune said that for the success of this operation, 170 people were recruited as extra staff on duty.
