Prominent Syrian singer Asala Nasri recently held a grand performance in California to support Syrian revolutionists who are fighting for their right to live in a democratic country and demanding the resignation of the government of President Bashar Al Asad. Proceeds of the concert were donated to victims injured by forces loyal to President Bashar’s regime.Asala posted a photo of her riding a motorcycle in the streets of California on her official page on the internet social network Twitter and wrote, “The American people are good hearted and there are a mix of different nationalities.” The performance in California is part of Asala’s world tour to raise donations for victims in Syria. The first performance took place in Holland.Asala posted a second photo on her Twitter account showing her new nail polish donning the Syrian flag, which drew great admiration by her fans. She wrote along with the photo, “This is the flag of my beloved country.”
