"The Lincoln Lawyer" director Brad Furman has signed on to helm the online gambling thriller "Runner Runner," The Hollywood Reporter said. Actor Justin Timberlake will star in the film, and Ben Affleck, who last appeared in "The Town," is in final negotiations to join the cast, the entertainment industry publication reported Friday. Screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien wrote the screenplay for the film, which is scheduled to begin production this summer in Puerto Rico. Affleck is next slotted to appear in the latest Terrence Malick project and in thriller "Argo," which he directed. Timberlake next stars in "Trouble with the Curve," which will be released in September and the Coen brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis," hitting theaters in February, THR reported.
