Connor Cruise slammed rumors that he had a troubled relationship with his mother Nicole Kidman telling Woman's Day Australia that family always comes first. The 19-year-old aspiring DJ and his sister, Isabella, famously decided to stay with with their father, Tom Cruise, following his 2001 divorce from Kidman. But in spite the fact that they don't live together Cruise says he has finally reconnected with his mother. "I love my mom," Cruise told Woman's Daily. "I don't care what people say, I know that me and Mom are solid. I love her a lot. My family means everything. Yeah, I love my music, but the family comes before everything else." During a 2007 interview for the UK's GMTV show, Kidam revealed that her kids with Tom Cruise didn't call her "Mommy," which she didn't like. "They don't even call me mom," Kidman said at the time. "They call me Nicole, which I hate and tell them off for it." "They live with Tom, which was their choice," she told Hello! in 2010. "I'd love them to live with us, but what can you do?" Kidman currently lives part time in Sydney, Australia, and Nashville, Tenn. along with husband Keith Urban and the pair's two children: Sunday Urban, 5, and Faith Urban, 3.
