Coolio arrested on outstanding warrants

Rapper Coolio was arrested when police pulled him over during a routine traffic stop and found two outstanding misdemeanor warrants, Las Vegas police said. Coolio, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was the passenger in the vehicle police pulled over. They found Ivey, 48, had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants -- one for illegal stop, stand or parking and the other for driving without a license. The Las Vegas Sun reported Ivey was booked into the Clark County Detention Center at 2:40 a.m. Friday. He was released around 1:30 p.m. Saturday without bail on the condition he would attend his court hearing.
