Egypt's Ezzat Alayli denies dramatic rumours

Egyptian star Ezzat Alayli has denied rumours he has finished writing two new drama series. “I’ve never thought about writing drama,” he said. “These rumours are funny.” Alayli claimed he was too preoccupied with current events in Egypt, as well as filming for new series, The Day Comes. Egyptian newspapers had previously claimed Alayli was in the process of writing a socio-political drama title Flood, dealing with political fragmentation, revolution and Islamism.
