Several American former child stars appear in a new Funny or Die video clip taking aim at actor Kirk Cameron's conservative views on homosexuality. Maureen Flannigan, Keith Coogan, Josie Davis, Kenn Michael, Brice Beckham, Jeremy Licht and Christine Lakin say in the video they are members of an organization called Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron. "We're pledging to raise awareness about a serious threat to our civil rights: Kirk Cameron's stupid opinions," EW.com quoted the actors as saying. "As former child stars ourselves, we don't want to be associated with that horse's [expletive]." Cameron is an evangelical Christian and former star of the sitcom "Growing Pains" who has come under fire in recent months for saying he believes homosexuality is detrimental to society.
