Prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq stated that she has decided to take legal actions against all representatives of the media who published the rumor about a secret marriage between her and an Iraqi politician, whose name was kept anonymous. Ghada considered such rumors as a direct attack against her and at first she did not intend on taking the matter to court and ignored all that was said as she normally does with rumors. She added what led her to take legal actions is the speed the rumor was circulating and the fact that none of the newspaper that published the lies bothered to contact her and verify the news. According to the London based Elaph, Ghada said that there are certain people who are after ruining her image and are jealous of the success of her latest film “Riklam” that only a few days after its screening the profits made have reached over two million Egyptian pounds. On a different note, Ghada noted that she is currently filming the scenes of her upcoming television drama “Ma’ Sibq Al Israr” (With Insistence), which is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season. She is also preparing for her private wedding ceremony to journalist Mohammad Foudah, which is scheduled to take place at the beginning of March.
