
The late "Bachelor" star Gia Allemand's public visitation and funeral are to take place this week in New York, her family announced. A viewing is to be held Wednesday at Papavero Funeral Home in Maspeth, N.Y., while a funeral service is scheduled at Trinity Grace Church of Chelsea in New York City Thursday morning. The 29-year-old, New York-born model was taken off life support last Wednesday and died after hanging herself Aug. 14 in New Orleans. She is best known as one of the competitors on Season 14 of the dating competition series "The Bachelor."
