How Lindsay Lohan destroyed her looks

It wasn't just Lindsay Lohan's behaviour at last week's charity fundraiser AmFAR bash in New York that got tongues wagging - her face rapidly became the talk of the night too after the 25-year-old revealed a visage that looked as if it belonged to a woman in her mid-40s. With black circles under sunken eyes, puffed up lips that looked as though she'd barely be able to talk through them and the sort of pillow-esque cheeks we've come to expect from Madonna, Lindsay also sported dry, beyond fake-looking white-blonde extensions and a fringe she couldn't see through. So, what has the once stunning star had done that saw one renowned surgeon dub her "A 25-year-old, [who] looks like a 50-year-old Real Housewife trying to look 20"? Scene peeks behind Lindsay's new face… ‘Plumped beyond all recognition' Virtually unrecognisable from the natural beauty who won fans the world over in the teen-friendly likes of Mean Girls and Herbie: Reloaded, a slew of surgeons have come forward to agree that excessive surgery and an obsession with constantly tweaking her face, is behind Lindsay's new look. "Her face has been plumped beyond all recognition," Dr Anthony Youn told the New York Post. "Lindsay, who's 25, looks like a 50-year-old Real Housewife trying to look 20." And with Lindsay's lips noticeably plumper, it appears that the once-promising actress is no stranger to seeking cosmetic enhancements, leading another practitioner, Dr Toby Mayer, to lament, "Women in their 20s don't need fillers." What has she had done? "There is no question that Ms Lohan had filler of some type in her lips," said Dr Michael Olding, the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at George Washington University. While dermatologist, Dr Kenneth Beer, adds, "She has had injections of a filler such as Restylane or Juvederm. To me, it looks like about one to two syringes of product were used on her upper and lower lips... it will last for about six to eight months." Adding, "[I also suspect she's] had some Botox [injected into] her forehead and frown lines." And to add to the growing list of apparent surgery Lindsay's had done - which included rumours of a breast enhancement - docs appear to think she's also had a nose job at some point. "Her nose also looks thinner than it used to," Dr Anthony Youn added to Radar. ‘She needs help' "She looks nothing like the pretty young girl on Freaky Friday, although ‘freaky' is a good word to describe her appearance," Youn told Radar. "I suspect that hard- living combined with some plastic surgery is causing her to look virtually unrecognisable." Adding, "Her plastic surgeon should really stop working on her and send her to a therapist. It looks like the last thing she needs is more plastic surgery."
