IPL season bumps big-budget movie releases

Arch rivals Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan may have conflicting views about releasing films during the IPL season. But scan the tentative movie schedule for the next two months and you realise that most producers are erring on the side of caution. In the next eight weeks, only a handful of big productions will be rolled out in the theatres. On the roster are films such as Akshay Kumar-starrer Housefull 2, Anil Kapoor's thriller Tezz, Sanjay Dutt's action-drama Department and Emraan Hashmi's Jannat 2.
