Jessica Alba, America Ferrera, Kal Penn and Alfre Woodard were in Charlotte, N.C., Wednesday for the "Conversations with the Next Generation" town hall. The celebrities joined in a discussion about issues young voters face at the event presented by the National Journal, The Atlantic and Microsoft. The program was moderated by Chelsea Clinton and Chris Frates. It also included an audience question-answer session with perspectives on the youth vote, education and the future of America's economy, organizers said. Wednesday's event at the Democratic National Convention followed a "Conversations with the Next Generation" program held last week at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Fla.
