Oscar-winning actress Joan Fontaine died of natural causes Sunday at her home in Carmel, Calif., her assistant said. She was 96. Her film credits include "No More Ladies," "The Women," "Gunga Din," "Hold Back the Dawn," "Suspicion," "Rebecca," "The Constant Nymph," "Jane Eyre," "September Affair," "Ivanhoe" and "Island in the Sun."
