Longtime friends Quincy Jones and Michael Caine will celebrate their 80th birthday with a charity fundraiser in Las Vegas this spring, organizers said. The 17th annual Power of Love Gala is to take place April 13 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. It is to raise funds in support of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Expected to attend are Barbra Streisand, Bebe Winans, Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Jordin Sparks, Terrence Howard, Patti Austin, will.i.am, Whoopi Goldberg and others. "We are incredibly excited and humbled to honor Quincy Jones and Sir Michael Caine with an extraordinary birthday celebration at this year's Power of Love Gala," Larry Ruvo, founder and chairman of Keep Memory Alive, said in a statement Wednesday. "These two iconic men are helping shine light on the reason why we have this event every year: to support the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health's continued work towards enhanced treatments and research of neurocognitive disorders."
