Spanish singer Julio Iglesias on Monday expressed his admiration for Conchita Wurst, the Austrian bearded transvestite who won Eurovision at the weekend. "She's a super singer and she's an amazing girl, very sensitive, and I'm really happy for her," said the 70-year-old. Iglesias was in London to receive an award from his Sony record label for being the most successful Latin artist of all time, with more than 300 million records sold. He is still working on new projects, and told reporters he wanted to make an album of Mexican music and organise a special concert with younger artists Bruno Mars and Justin Timberlake. "We are planning now with the company to do something very special with the young kids, with Bruno, with Timberlake, with all those beautiful kids, a special in November, December," Iglesias said. The singer, who recently released a compilation album entitled "1 The Collection", will play the first of two dates at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday night.
