British indie rock group The Maccabees say their third album, "Given to the Wild," is set for release in North America next month. The CD will become available April 24 via Fiction Records/Cooperative Music. The follow-up to the band's 2009 "Wall of Arms" album is a culmination of two years of writing in the United Kingdom, the band said. The CD went on sale in January in Great Britain. "We wanted everyone in the band to feel freedom while making this record," the group's front man Felix White said in a statement about "Given to the Wild." "So, individually, we would work on ideas and bring them to the rest of the band." The Maccabees are confirmed to headline at this year's Leeds and Reading festivals. They said they expect to line up dates in North America this year, as well.
