Pop icon Madonna says she "wasn't happy" after rapper M.I.A. flipped her middle finger at a camera during their Super Bowl halftime show. The NFL and NBC immediately apologized for M.I.A.'s behavior and for the network's failure to keep it off of television. USA Today said Madonna called in to Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show Friday morning to give her perspective on the incident. "I didn't know about it until I left. I was really surprised. I didn't know anything about it," Madonna told Seacrest. "I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's punk rock and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good energy, and positivity. It seemed negative. It's one of the those things, it's such a teenager, irrelevant thing to do…there was such a feeling of love and unity there. What was the point? It was just out of place," she said.
