Meg Ryan buys 'Simpsons' voice actor's loft for $8m

Meg Ryan has purchased an $8 million luxury loft in Soho.
The 52-year-old actress bought the property from Simpsons voice actor Hank Azaria. The loft is approximately 4,000 square feet and features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and details such as French doors. Ryan was previously renting an apartment less than two blocks away from her new home.
The purchase comes days after news broke of Ryan's split from boyfriend John Mellencamp. She and the 62-year-old musician were together for three years, and reportedly broke up due to distance. The actress is a longtime resident of New York, while Mellencamp resides in Indiana.
Ryan is known for New York-centric films such as When Harry Met Sally (1989) and You've Got Mail (1998). The actress will direct and appear in Ithaca in 2015.
