Megan Fox would like to star as a superhero.
The 28-year-old actress relayed her wish in an interview with E! News. Fox is no stranger to action films, having starred in Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009), and suggested two comics for movie adaptations.
"There's a comic book called Gen¹³ that they need to make into a movie," she said. "[There are] three female ass-kicking superheroes. That's an opportunity to put three super-hot, awesome badass girls in a movie, and I imagine it would be so lucrative."
Gen¹³ was originally written by Jim Lee and Brandon Choi, and illustrated by J. Scott Campbell for Image Comics. The series follows Caitlin Fairchild, Roxanne Spaulding, Sarah Rainmaker and two male heroes who become fugitives after developing superpowers.
Fox also suggested manga series Sailor Moon, although she would not be interested in the project."I wouldn't want to be in this, but they're all schoolgirls and superheroes," she said. "That's right up a lot of people's alley."
The actress will next appear as reporter April O'Neil in Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. The movie opens in theaters August 8.
