Michael Fassbender was so star struck when he saw Tom Waits he couldn't speak to him. The hunky star is getting used to people becoming tongue-tied around him now he's hit the big time, but that doesn't mean he finds it easy to talk to his idols. Michael was astounded when he came face-to-face with singer/songwriter Tom. "Absolutely, yes," he replied, when asked if he gets star struck. "Most recently Tom Waits. I daren't [speak to him] he was sort of giving off the energy that he didn't want me to because I think he could sense it. You know, you can sense the energy when someone's [trying to talk to you] and trying to get up close to you. I thought it was enough to be in is presence." Michael has become known for stripping off in movies such as Shame. Although he is continually quizzed about what it's like to appear naked on screen, the 35-year-old doesn't think it's that big a deal. "It's really only one film that I got naked in? maybe two!" he laughed to Kate Garraway on a UK TV show. "It is what it is. I do tend to forget about things pretty quickly when I've done them. At the time you get self-conscious, of course, and people will highlight it?"
