Mondo plans to release special dinosaur-themed Jurassic Park soundtrack vinyls. The Austin, Texas pop-culture printshop has commissioned the records in honor of the film's 21st anniversary. Jurassic Park debuted in theaters June 11, 1993, and the new soundtracks will go on sale June 11 on Mondo's website. The double-LP set features artwork by JC Richard and Dan McCarthy. One record is printed on "Dilophosaurus" colored vinyl, and features Richard's rendition of two brachiosaurus on the front cover and the famous tyrannosaurus chase scene inside. McCarthy's record is printed on "translucent amber," and has a tyrannosaurus skeleton on its cover. Composer John Williams provided the soundtrack for Jurassic Park and its sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. His original themes appear in the third movie, Jurassic Park III. A fourth Jurassic Park movie, Jurassic World, is currently in the works at Amblin Entertainment and Legendary Pictures. The new movie is directed by Colin Trevorrow and produced by Steven Spielberg. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson are attached to star. Jurassic World is scheduled for a June 12, 2015 release.
