Muna Amarsha denies running into Shatha Hassoun

Moroccan singer Muna Amarsha denied rumors that she ran into Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun at a restaurant in Beirut. Muna said that she has never met Shatha in real life and only knows her through media reports. A press release was released from Muna’s managing office saying that Muna never met Shatha and she does not know how the latter made public statements that they had met in person at a restaurant. Muna said that she is amused by Shatha’s interest in her every move. Muna also said that Shatha should not make false statements regarding other female artists and should instead concentrate more on her own career. According to the internet website MBC.net, the relationship between Shatha and Muna is tense due to public statements made about each other.
