Nick Cannon confirms split from Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon has opened up about his breakup from singer Mariah Carey and told Yahoo's The Insider "there is trouble in paradise."
"We have been living in separate houses for a few months," the America's Got Talent judge said Thursday, adding that infidelity was not one of the reasons for the split.
"My main focus is my kids," he said of the pair's 3-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
The rapper's comments come one day after multiple media outlets reported that he and Carey had been living separately for months and planned to divorce. The couple's issues reportedly began in the spring when Cannon opened up about his sex life -- both before and after Carey -- in several radio interviews.
Carey's publicist wouldn't "comment on Mariah's personal life," but added she "is focusing on her children and her upcoming tour."
Carey and Cannon have been married since 2008.
