A man was arrested and another agreed to surrender after Los Angeles authorities said the men stole part of the Porsche that crashed, killing actor Paul Walker. Jameson Witty, 18, was arrested at his home in northeastern Los Angeles and a second man's arrest was pending after the men allegedly stole parts of the doomed red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT as it was being towed away Saturday night, Sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker said late Thursday. The car, carrying "Fast and Furious" actor Walker, 40, and friend Roger Rodas, 38, crashed into a light pole and tree and burst into flames in Santa Clarita, Calif., around 3:30 p.m. Saturday. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department declared both men dead at the scene. "A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck," the sheriff's statement said. "The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed. The male drove away with the stolen vehicle part. The tow truck driver reported the theft to the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station," said the statement, cited by the Los Angeles Times. The robbery occurred when the flatbed tow truck was stopped at a red light, the sheriff's report said. Witty and the other man allegedly stole a roof panel off the back of the tow truck, detectives told Variety. Witty was booked Thursday at the Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's station, with bail set at $20,000.
