"Good Morning America" weather anchor Sam Champion announced Friday he is engaged to marry his boyfriend, photographer Rubem Robierb. "We are thrilled and so excited and thank everyone for their good wishes," Champion said. ABC News said Champion and Robierb met through mutual friends a few years ago in Miami where Robierb lives. The couple plan to wed later this year.
