Country singer Scotty McCreery and several friends were robbed at gunpoint at an apartment in Raleigh, N.C., early Monday morning. No one was injured, but wallets, cash and valuable electronic items were stolen. McCreery, 20, was visiting friends at the apartment complex, situated near the campus of North Carolina State University, where he is a student. The victims said three armed men, wearing sweatpants and gray hoodies, barged into the apartment and shouted, "Everyone on the floor. Give us everything you've got." The suspects told McCreery and his friends to get down on the floor and count to 100 before getting up again. "Worst morning of my life…" McCreery tweeted Monday after the incident. In a later statement, McCreery thanked the work of the Raleigh Police Department. "It was definitely a very scary night," he said. So, about last night... pic.twitter.com/wkFciaM7jY— Scotty McCreery (@ScottyMcCreery) May 5, 2014
