Simon Cowell's girlfriend expecting a boy

E! News has revealed the baby British television personality Simon Cowell is having with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman will be a boy. "We're all excited and we're all doing well," Carole Salande, Silverman's mother, told the entertainment news outlet Thursday. "I'm just happy to be up here spending time with everyone," she said, adding she had traveled from Florida to New York to spend the Jewish New Year with Silverman, while Cowell is working on "The X Factor" in Los Angeles. "I'm so happy things have calmed down," Salande said, referring to the media circus surrounding the initial news of her daughter's pregnancy, which came this summer before she was officially divorced from Cowell's friend Andrew Silverman, with whom she has a young son. The Silvermans have since agreed on settlement terms.
