According to the 30-year-old actress, the post which says: "India sucks.....!!!" was written by her former digital manager. India sucks.....!!!— Veena Malik (@iVeenaMalik) March 15, 2014 "My Twitter account was hacked in December, last year, by my digital manager from India, Prashant, who is part of a Mumbai-based web service company," Malik told the Times of India. "I had a three-year contract with his company but after two years I chose to discontinue the association." "The company continued to keep a track of my account, but after I got married Prashant started blackmailing me," she continued. "He started demanding money and said that he would not give me my account details otherwise." Malik explained that she did not take legal action at the time because she wasn't planning on returning to India, but Saturday's tweet promoted her to file a legal notice against Prashant. The actress went on to say that while she loves her country and she has served "as an ambassador of sorts between India and Pakistan" and she has "an immense respect for India." Malik and Prashant reportedly dated for some time and broke up on an "ugly note." The actress has been married to fellow Pakistani actor, Asad Bashir, since December of 2013.
