A woman was detained by security guards after allegedly dousing Kim Kardashian with white powder at a public appearance at a West Hollywood hotel, police said. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said it took a non-criminal battery report Thursday night in connection with the incident. The Los Angeles Times said officers were called to the scene, but the reality TV star declined medical attention and told police she did not intend to press charges against the woman, who was not identified. Kardashian went back to her room, cleaned up and returned a short time later in a new outfit. The woman who allegedly threw the powder at her was released at the scene, the Times said.
