Gillian Anderson wins theatre award

Gillian Anderson won best actress award at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards on Sunday for her performance in "A Streetcar Named Desire".
Anderson, 46, had wanted to play the role of southern belle Blanche DuBois in the Tennessee Williams 1947 play for 30 years.
The actress, who rose to fame on television series "The X Files", told the audience she felt like an "imposter" among the other nominees for the award, who included Billie Piper and Kristin Scott Thomas.
The best actor award went to Tom Hiddleston, 33, known for playing Loki in Marvel Studios films "Thor" and "The Avengers".
Hiddlestone had impressed critics playing the title role in "Coriolanus".
Guests at the London event included David and Victoria Beckham, model Naomi Campbell, and actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Sienna Miller and Helen Mirren.
Reclusive singer Kate Bush made a surprise appearance to collect an Editor's Award for her "Before the Dawn" comeback concerts, which were hailed as "a new high in music performance".
