
GMC has launched its 2014 line-up of compact crossovers in the UAE. The GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali has been rolled out with two new wheel offerings and new exterior colours, said a statement. Terrain’s exterior colours for 2014 include copper red metallic, silver sky metallic, quicksilver metallic, crystal red tintcoat, carbon black metallic, summit white, ashen gray metallic, champagne silver metallic, Atlantis blue metallic, iridium metallic and bronze alloy metallic. Terrain Denali is offered in quicksilver metallic, crystal red tintcoat, carbon black metallic, summit white and iridium metallic. The models feature new 18-inch chrome clad aluminium wheels (standard on SLT2 and available on SLE2 and SLT1 models) and 17-inch aluminium wheels (on SLE and SLT1 models); and the standard Ecotec 2.4L four-cylinder engine. Also available is a 3.6L V-6 engine with direct injection and continuously variable valve timing is SAE certified at 292 horsepower and 369 Nm of torque. It offers both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive models, in SLE and SLT trim levels, All models include four-wheel disc brakes with StabiliTrak electronic stability control and traction control, as well as six standard air bags: dual frontal air bags, head curtain side air bags and pelvic/thorax seat-mounted side air bags. GMC IntelliLink provides information and entertainment by integrating the capability of a smartphone into the vehicle so that hand-held phones may be safely stowed while driving. Source: TradeArabia
