GMC is set to unveil its 2015 Yukon and other new models at the Dubai International Motor Show to be held next month. The models on show will also include the all-new Sierra Denali full-size pickup, Sierra Regular Cab SLE, the Terrain Denali and the Acadia Denali, at the event running from November 5 to 9. The Yukon features more power with a new family of advanced EcoTec3 engines, with the line-up expected to deliver the segment’s best V-8 fuel economy. It also features new fold-flat rear seats, a quieter interior and new safety and security technologies. “We’ve engineered the Yukon and Yukon XL from the ground up, building on a strong legacy of capability to take them to the top of the segment with exceptional refinement and purposeful technology,” said Tony Di Salle, vice president of GMC Marketing. The all-new 2014 GMC Sierra light duty full-size pickup houses one of three all new EcoTec3 engines and a fully cabin with available next-generation IntelliLink connectivity. It also boasts the longest list of standard features for a full-size GMC pickup. The GMC Terrain is a compact crossovers, introducing the brand’s ‘commands respect’ driving experience to a new generation of drivers. The 2014 Acadia combines premium materials, distinctive style and advanced technologies, while standing as the premier choice in the crossover category. It focuses on safety with the addition of forward collision alert and lane departure warning. The model’s crash-avoidance systems use a camera and sensors to help detect when the driver is getting too close to a vehicle ahead, or when the vehicle enters another lane without the use of a turn signal. The system complements the side blind zone alert and rear cross traffic alert. Source: TradeArabia
