
Renault Samsung Motors Co., the South Korean unit of French automaker Renault SA, said Thursday that its sales in November plunged 29.5 percent from a year earlier due to mounting economic uncertainties. Renault Samsung said it sold 17,268 vehicles last month, compared with 24,501 units a year earlier. Exports dropped 24.2 percent on-year to 9,509 units, with local sales nosediving 35.1 percent from a year earlier to 7,759 units. Overall sales in November also dropped 16.4 percent from the previous month.
