Suzuki’s iconic B-King muscle bike, will take its final bow in the UK market this year, as the last few remaining models enjoy a saving of £1340 thanks to Suzuki’s September only promotion, where every model over 126cc enjoys a pound per CC price saving. Combined with a 0%APR finance deal and a deposit of just one pound required, the mighty B-King has never been better value and with less than 30 brand new models now available in the UK, those interested should act fast. First shown to the world as a futuristic concept bike in 2001, the B-King was brought to production in 2007, after public demand at shows, exhibitions and dealerships the world-over showed Suzuki that there was demand for such a bike. Featuring the same power-plant as Suzuki’s legendary Hayabusa, the B-King surprised the motorcycling press at its launch, with many who rode it amazed at its incredible performance and torque and yet nimble handling, despite its enormous presence. Suzuki GB general manager, Paul de Lusignan, explained, “The B-King was really the first bike that made it from concept to dealer showrooms due to demand from our UK customers. When it was first revealed, customers were blown away by its futuristic styling and looks and from that point onwards we and our dealers were regularly asked about when it would make production. In 2007 it became reality and we were able to deliver the production model, which went on to impress testers and sell to the hardcore followers. “The B-King is a great niche model which like the GSX1400 before it, is quickly becoming a cult bike. But this will be the last year of B-King, so potential customers should act quickly and take advantage of our September only ‘£1 per CC’ saving.”
